About Patrick
I’m a Director of Photography specialising in shooting documentary films. I began shooting current affairs and one-off observational films in the early 2000’s for the BBC and Channel 4. My work has evolved towards feature documentaries and streamer series in recent years. My core approach remains the same – shooting honest visually powerful interviews, cinematic actuality sequences and helping to create visual landscapes, often through shooting drama. I’m as passionate about the art of documentary filmmaking as I am about the technology I use to shoot these films and I spend a great deal of time tailoring my equipment to the way I work.
