Darren Lilley

I have worked on many productions over the last 25 years as a sound recordist. These have been a mixture of commercials, feature documentaries, content films and programme idents, which have taken me all over the world (94 Countries, all 7 Continents and 36 States in the US) with lots of different production companies. I have worked on lots of major sporting brand campaigns as well as tech brands, all the big food and drink brands and clothing. Being mostly based in Manchester I get to work with the major football teams in the Northwest on a regular basis, I have recently done a ‘Move for the Planet’ campaign with Adidas, and a long running Expedia onewith Liverpool FC.

My style of sound recording enables me to be able to swich quickly and seamlessly from studio to location setups and I am able to either work with a boom op or on my own depending on the production.
