Patrick Smith

Director Of Photography
About

Patrick Smith is a Director of Photography specialising in shooting documentary films. His career began in current affairs and one-off observational films in the early 2000’s for the BBC and Channel 4. His work has evolved towards feature documentaries and streamer series yet his core approach remains the same – shooting honest visually powerful interviews, cinematic actuality sequences and helping to create visual landscapes, often through shooting drama. Patrick is as passionate about the art of documentary filmmaking as the technology he uses to shoot films and tailors his equipment to the way he works.
