Conversations & Connections: Panel & Networking Charity Event
On Wednesday 1st October Chapters organised a charity fundraiser Panel and Networking event in partnership with the Film and TV Charity at the iconic One Ninety Four in Piccadilly. A brilliant evening of conversations and making new connections, to support the vital work and resources The Film and TV Charity offers, helping to solidify the UK as an industry that supports the people behind its success.
Together through ticket sales and donations on the night, we raised the equivalent of over three stop-gap grants, each helping someone in our industry out of immediate financial uncertainty.
Thank you to our host Laurel Parker (Producer/Director and Senior Lecturer at Ravensbourne University) and our incredible panellists:
Bianca Gavin (Head of Production Film & Television, at Vice Studios’ Pulse Films and Chair, Production Guild of Great Britain) ‘Gangs of London’, ‘Bad Apples’ and ‘Atomic’
Benjamin Greenacre (Producer) ‘The Lazarus Project’, ‘A Pale View of Hills’ and ‘The Outlaws’
Elizabeth Rufai (Producer) BAFTA-winning short ‘Jellyfish and Lobster’ and ‘Urchin’
Michael Constable (Executive Producer & Line Producer) ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’, ‘The Expendables 4’, and ‘Hedda’
Mickey Down (Writer) Co-creator, Showrunner and writer of ‘Industry’
And a huge thank you to our brilliant Event Sponsors: CineArk, Liteworx and Haddenham Studios
